PONTEVEDRA, Capiz — Mayor Steve Contreras is asking for an
immediate supply of food, water, medicines, clothing and toiletries to people,
especially the evacuees from the 26 barangays affected by super typhoon
“Yolanda.”
The distribution of goods from nongovernment organizations,
local government units and the Department of Social Welfare and Development was
